At around 4 o'clock we left the massive statue and made our way towards Uluwatu via Padang Padang beach. Komang never failed to deliver when we asked to go somewhere, and this little gem of a beach was perfect. Again, not wheelchair accessible because of the step climb down through a tunnel in the rock. Even I was a little concerned at first, but after watching Chelsea disappear through the exit I figured it was safe.
We did not spend long here, but if we were to visit again we would be sure to bring swimming things. It was nice not to be hassled by people wanting to sell us massages and hair braiding, and also good to see the vendors of Bintang on the beach for thirst emergencies.
