Black Tom's

I had earlier read about this restaurant and knew it was close, so we turned right out of the resort and there it was, Black Tom's, about 100 metres down the road.  It has western food as well as Indonesian, and has live bands on certain nights.  I had pasta and a Bintang to finish off.  They did not have the selection of wines they advertised and their eftpos machine did not work, which was annoying, but glad we went as the place was empty.

We had an early night as I still had my earache and we had another big day coming up, with Komang picking us up to go to Uluwatu via a couple of other stops.
We were very happy with our driver arrangement, with Top Bali for tours and Mr Long for short trips. Both Made and Komang have young families to support and were, like many drivers, finding it difficult to make ends meet, so we were happy to use their services, which were excellent.
