Day 8

The second half of this blog is not looking at Bali from a disability point of view necessarily, but where appropriate I have made comments relevant to that.
After waking up without the boys, Chelsea and I decided to have a massage and nails session at Carmen's Spa across the road. It was relaxing, even if my nail polish came off straight away, and we got to see another tourist getting their feet nibbled by hungry fish.
After lunch we got Made (who lives just across the road) to take us to Seminyak, as we had never been there.  The shops are either high end and expensive or market stalls with very persistant vendors because of the lack of tourism.  We did not stay long, and instead got Made to drive us to Potato Head Beach Resort and wait for us while we had a drink or two and took in the view.  It's where the cool people hang out, and is not a bad place if you want to lounge around on a sunbed for $50 or swim in the infinity pool or have a pizza or cocktail and sit around looking beautiful.  The security is pretty strict going in, I guess in response to past bombings and present threats.
This place has a ramp going in and seems to be accessible at the bottom level at least.
